I extracted the picture of the 2 players by using the background eraser tool. I put it onto the basketball court image and then created a shadow by using layer via copy and then altering the perspective, color, and opacity.
Good job and nice work with the shadow. My only advice is to pay attention the other shadows in the image and make your own going in the same direction. The players' shadows would need to be going to the right, not up .
